CASCFEN via Baku Today: Iran Releases Journalist From Jail - Mohsen Sazegara was released from jail Saturday after staging a hunger strike in protest of his arrest. Sazegara runs a website at http://www.alliran.net.

Sazgara runs an Internet newspaper and criticizes officials of the country from time to time. His Golestan-e Iran (Garden of Iran) newspaper was closed down last year shortly after hitting the newsstands.
Some international press freedom wathcdog organizations applied to Iranian government and called to be tolerant to criticism and free journalist from the jail.
